Throwback Gem! Irrfan Khan's Son Babil Shares Pics From 'Best Holi Celebrations' With Parents At Tigmanshu Dhulia's House

Babil Khan shared throwback snaps of his parents, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, from Holi celebrations at actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia's house.

Mumbai: Late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s elder son Babil Khan treated the fans with throwback photos of his parents on social media. The star kid went down the memory lane and posted pictures of Holi celebrations from Tigmanshu Dhulia’s house. He revealed that he had a gala time while celebrating the festival of colours at Dhulia’s house. 

Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar can be seen carrying little Babil in her arms in one of the photos. The snap also features Jaansi Dhulia, who is the daughter of actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Babil shared the throwback gems along with the caption, “I remember the best Holi celebrations of my life at Jaansi's house.” 

Vijay Varma, Achint Kaur and other celebs dropped comments on the post. Achint wrote, "Memories are all we have... splendid" while Vijay commented, "I’ve been to one at Tishu sirs office where I met Irrfan saab. The best holi happens there for sure."

Vijay, who was recently seen in 'Ok Computer', revealed that he met Irrfan Khan at Dhulia's office.

Irrfan left for his heavenly abode on April 29, 2020. The ‘Piku’ actor, who was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, is survived by his wife and two sons. Several Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone had expressed grief over his untimely demise on social media. 

Last month, Babil penned a heartwarming post on his father's first death anniversary. He expressed his grief by penning his thoughts on Instagram. 

Irrfan was posthumously bestowed with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the Filmfare Awards 2021 for his contribution to Indian cinema.  

Babil broke down into tears while accepting the award on behalf of his father at the prestigious award ceremony in Mumbai. Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana, who were hosting the special segment, also got emotional.

Babil will make his acting debut with Clean Slate Filmz’s ‘Qala’, which will premiere on Netflix. The upcoming flick also stars ‘Bulbbul’ actress Tripti Dimri.
