After Slamming Ibrahim Ali Khan's Nadaaniyan, Pakistani Critic Gets Flooded With Abusive Messages

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, recently made headlines following an alleged exchange with a Pakistani film critic.

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, recently made headlines following an alleged exchange with a Pakistani film critic. The actor, who made his debut in the recently released film ‘Nadaaniyan’, reportedly responded to a critical review by Pakistani critic Tamur Iqbal.

Pakistani film critic slammed over Nadaaniyan review

Iqbal claimed that Ibrahim reached out to him via Instagram DM, expressing anger over the harsh comments. In a new video, the critic revealed that since the incident, he has been receiving an influx of abusive messages from Indian social media users.

In his latest video message, critic Tamur Iqbal shared an update, saying, “This is an update. 48 hours later, the gaaliyaan, the abusive messages have still not stopped on my Instagram…the threats…predominantly coming from Indian social media users who are still visibly upset about my review."

He then urged people to "take a chill pill” and said that Nadaaniyan is simply "a bad movie." He continued, “Don’t turn it into some Indo-Pak rivalry. It’s not. Take a chill pill. It’s just a bad movie, I posted a story about it and it got the attention of Ibrahim Ali Khan, leading to this entire mess."

“On a lighter note, the leading stars should thank me for creating this controversy about a movie which was completely dead and buried. Now at least people might consider watching it again. It’s a terrible, lousy movie. Watch it if you want to destroy your Sunday. And Ibrahim, good luck!" he added.

Ibrahim Ali Khan's reaction

For those who are unaware, it all started a few days ago when Tamur shared a screenshot of an alleged conversation with Ibrahim Ali Khan, in which the actor reportedly criticized him for his review of Nadaaniyan. According to the screenshot, Ibrahim’s message allegedly read: “Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of shit I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of scum."

While Tamur’s review isn’t on his Instagram, it’s clear from his reply and the comments that he made a remark about the actor’s appearance.

‘Nadaaniyan’ features a star-studded cast including Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, and more. The film was released on Netflix on March 7, 2025.
