Mumbai: Bollywood actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt shared a tweet to extend support to Shah Rukh Khan after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested his son Aryan Khan in connection with a raid at an alleged rave party. Pooja and SRK worked together in ‘Chaahat’, which was directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. The romantic musical drama co-starring Naseeruddin Shah, Ramiya Krishan and Anupam Kher released in 1996.

The NCB arrested Aryan Khan for alleged consumption, sale and purchase of banned drugs, according to a report in IANS. House after their arrest, the star kid and two others- Arbaz Khan Merchant & Munmun Dhamecha were produced before a Magistrate Court in Mumbai amid tight security on Sunday (October 3) evening.  

The court has sent the three to an NCB custody till Monday (October 4). They will be produced again before the court tomorrow for their judicial custody in connection with the case, according to ANI. 

Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, King Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’. The romantic drama co-starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma released in December 2018. 

Shah Rukh will make his comeback to Hindi cinema with YRF’s ‘Pathan’. The action drama, which is also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is expected to hit the silver screens next year. 

SRK is reportedly shooting for ‘Pathan’ in Spain along with Deepika. The makers are yet to confirm the rumours.
