The movie, which stars Nani as a single father raising his 6-year-old daughter (Kaira Khanna), is getting good reviews at first. In the movie, which explores how the father-daughter dynamic alters when Mrunal enters the picture, Mrunal Thakur appears opposite Nani.

Shouryuv, a debutante filmmaker, wrote and direct the romance drama. Vyra Entertainments is the producer. Since it's Nani's thirty-first film in which he plays the lead, the movie was first announced in January 2023 under the working title Nani 30, with the actual title being unveiled in July of the same year. 'Hi Nanna', originally slated for December 21, 2023, was moved up to December 7.
