Latest reports suggest that filmmaker Hansal Mehta is planning to make a biopic on the late actress & is considering National-award-winning actress Vidya Balan to play the lead role in it. On Twitter, Hansal Mehta clarified that he wanted to approach Sridevi for a film before her untimely death but unfortunately that was not meant to be. He further tweeted that, "What I said is that I am determined to make the film I’d planned with her. And that I might approach another actor to fit into that character.
