Deepika-Ranveer Wedding: Farah Khan's special gift for newly-married DeepVeer!

Bollywood's good-looking couple Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone, who started dating each other on the sets of 'Ram Leela' six years ago, are now husband & wife. The much-in-love couple finally tied the knot yesterday (14th November) in a traditional Konkani ceremony at Lake Como, Italy in the presence of their families & close friends. After the wedding ceremony, few leaked pictures & videos from Italy went viral & Bollywood celebs including Karan Johar, Nimrat Kaur among others wished DeepVeer for their future. In their reception invite, DeepVeer had asked for donations instead of gifts from the guests for NGO - 'The Live Love Laugh Foundation'. But director-choreographer Farah Khan has planned something special for them as a gift. Before leaving for their wedding, Ranveer & Deepika met Farah to seek blessings at her home. Farah surprised her as known hand & feet casting artist Bhavna Jasra was at her home too. Farah's gift for DeepVeer was a personalized hand impressions of themselves as a special wedding memento. Bhavna Jasra revealed the same and told a leading daily that, “Farah is a dear friend. She called me one morning, asking me if I could come to her place, as she wanted me to make a special wedding gift for Deepika and Ranveer. She wanted to surprise them and literally hid me in another room.” Speaking about the same, Bhavna further told TOI that, “I heard them arrive and greet Farah with great affection. Farah then told them that she has organised a surprise gift for their wedding and called out my name to do the honours. They greeted me with happy smiles and on knowing what the surprise was, they gleamed with joy. Directing the couple on how they should put their hands together to make a tight clasp was a special moment. I felt as if time stood still when Ranveer and Deepika posed for pictures with their hands clasped tightly in my clay.
