Actress Deepika Padukone, who will present an award at the 95th Academy Awards, left Mumbai on Friday night by flight.

New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone, who will present an award at the 95th Academy Awards, left Mumbai on Friday night by flight. A paparazzo account on Instagram posted a video of Deepika exiting her car at the Mumbai airport. Before entering the airport gate, the actor grinned as she posed for photographers.

Deepika thanked the photographers as she posed for them at the airport. The Bollywood actress, who is now a global celebrity, chose a black turtleneck sweater underneath a black blazer, jeans, and heels for her trip. She wore glasses and completed her look with a purse.

"Naina Talwar" (Deepika's character from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) is back again, a fan wrote in response to the video. Someone else said, "No one, I repeat, NO ONE, is doing it like HER." Another person commented, "Deepika is the most humble." An Instagram user also commented, “Proud moment loading."

Deepika Padukone will attend the Oscars at a time when India is up for three honours in the Original Song, Documentary Feature, and Documentary Short categories. She will attend the event alongside stars including Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Glenn Close, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monae, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Connelly, Riz Ahmed, and Melissa McCarthy.

The Dolly Theatre in Los Angeles will host the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12. The fact that the iconic dance song from SS Rajamouli's worldwide hit 'RRR', 'Naatu Naatu', is the front-runner in the Original Song category this year makes the Oscars relevant for India. In the past, Deepika served as an official jury representative for India at the Cannes Film Festival's 75th anniversary celebration in 2022.
