COVID-19 Positive Malaika Arora’s Heart Breaks On Not Being Able To Hug Her Babies; Says ‘Love Knows No Boundaries’

New Delhi: Many Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Genelia Deshmukh and others have tested positive for COVID-19. A few days back, Arjun Kapoor and his girlfriend Malaika Arora also tested positive for coronavirus and have isolated themselves under the advice of the doctors. The ‘Chhaiya Chhaiya’ actress took to her Instagram and confirmed the news of her testing positive for coronavirus. She wrote, “Today I have tested positive for coronavirus, but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and will be quarantined at home as instructed by my doctor and authorities. I request all of you to stay calm and safe. Thank you for all your support. Much love, Malaika Arora.” Being under home-quarantine, Malaika took to her Instagram earlier today and shared the picture of her babies revealing that just by looking at their faces gives her courage and energy. The photo featured her son Arhaan and dog Casper. While sharing the picture, Malaika wrote, “Love knows no boundaries". With our social distancing and self-quarantine in place, we still find a way to check on each other, see each other and talk. While my heart breaks to not be able to hug my two babies for another few days, just looking at their sweet faces gives me so much courage and energy to power through.... #thistooshallpass”

Recently, before she announced about testing positive for COVID-19, her test reports were made public and the pictures of the detailed report were doing the rounds of social media platforms. To which her sister Amrita Arora reacted and said, “Price of being a celebrity? New normal? In sickness but not in health? Is this ok? My sister’s results have been posted on various WhatsApp groups, Facebook and other mediums! While she was hoping and praying for a negative test and was also preparing herself to get better this is what one has to deal with? How is this ok????????? What’s has happened to us humans sad sad state of affairs.” Malaika Arora is also one of the judges of the popular reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’. As she has been quarantined for two weeks, Nora Fatehi has been roped in for being the new special guest judge. Other than Malaika, two other contestants have tested positive for COVID-19.
