Coronavirus: Sara Ali Khan Becomes The Youngest Actress To Donate To PM-CARES Fund & Maharashtra CM Relief Fund
Amid Coronavirus outbreak, Sara Ali Khan pledges to contribute PM-CARES Fund & Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.
New Delhi: The ongoing novel Coronavirus outbreak has changed the functioning of many countries all over the world including India. As a preventive measure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced announce the lockdown of 21 days till April 14. Modi also revealed the creation of the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM-CARES) and urged everyone to make donations and support this noble cause. While many Bollywood celebrities have already done their bit, Sara Ali Khan has become first actress from the younger lot to donate in fight against COVID-19.
Sara Ali Khan took to her social media account and pledged to extend her support by contributing to PM-CARES and Maharashtra CM Relief Fund for COVIS-19 making her the youngest actor to do so. Sara also, urged everyone to bid their help in whatever capacity they can, to show solidarity during this time of pandemic outbreak.
Sharing the note, she posted- "I pledge to donate to the PM CARES Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). I urge everyone to do their bit in helping the people of our country. Every contribution counts, and solidarity is our only hope against this pandemic”.
Sara also urged everyone and captioned it as, "Time to do a good deed... Stay in and help those in need! Your contributions will protect and feed. I urge you to support, I request, I plead. #jaihind #staysafe #IndiaFightsCorona"
