Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap turned decorators for their daughter's birthday party amid the COVID-19 lockdown. Interestingly, the couple used waste products to decorate the house.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahir Kashyap’s daughter Varushka turned a year older on Monday (April 21). The couple is leaving no stone unturned to make their daughter feel special on her birthday. From paper fans to birthday banner, Ayushmann and Tahira tried to make good use of whatever waste products and stationery were available in the house. This is so sweet, isn’t it? Ayushmann, who was last seen in ‘Bala’, took to Instagram to share an adorable picture to wish his daughter. He also said that the quarantine is teaching his family members several things. “Happy bday Varushka! This quarantine is teaching us a lot. Tahira Kashyap shared a video in which she and two children Virajveer and Varushka can be seen making some home-made decorations for the birthday. Tahira wrote, “Happy birthday Varushka!! This is a unique lockdown birthday for our 6 year old! We @ayushmannk tried our best to make it special! Sharing the joy with you #daughter #daughtersarespecial #lockdownbirthday #recycle.”

Talking about the celebrations, Tahira told IANS, "We have been doing birthday preparations for the past 10 days. Since there weren't any balloons or streamers available in the market we started making some home-made decorations. There was so much joy in recycling newspapers and painting paper sheets. While I'm making six small cakes, Ayushmann is helping me organise a treasure hunt for the kids, and he is also keeping us entertained with his music. It's going to be the four of us enjoying and playing games. I've also curated a special a video which has birthday wishes from her classmates and our relatives. It's going to be a special one."
