Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter in boosting the morale of the ISRO, who worked hard towards the mission.

A host of Bollywood celebs came out in support of India’s Chandrayaan 2 mission and praised ISRO for their efforts. Earlier in the wee hours of Saturday, Chandrayaan 2’s lander Vikram lost communication with ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru after reaching just a little over 2 kilometers from moon’s surface. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had given a go-ahead to the mission, addressed the scientists of ISRO at 8 am on September 7, 2019. He even consoled ISRO chief K Sivan post the meeting, where the latter broke down.
