Ameesha, while exclusively talking to ABP News, accused Chandra of threatening her Ameesha Patel, who made her Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai', was fielded by the politician to woo voters in the Bihar elections. Now, the actress has accused the politician of ill treatment. Patel, who visited the state as a guest of the leader said, “He is an awful man who blackmails and threatens. He has treated me and my team very badly and also misbehaved with us.  Even though, I arrived in Mumbai last evening, I have been receiving threatening calls and messages to speak highly of him. I had been honest about my terrible experience with him on October 26.” The actress has accused the politician of threatening her to 'play along' with him at the time of campaigning for three hours in Patna. “I had an evening flight to catch the same day, but he didn’t allow me to board it; instead kept me in the village and threatened to leave me there if I didn’t agree and go along,” the actress said. The actress also accused the LJP politician of blackmailing and offering her money in exchange of making statements praising the latter. He also begged for connecting with her and later threatened. “His staff is calling non-stop. I have instructed all my team to politely, say yes to his people and disconnect. It was a nightmare.  He is a real thug and he behaved like a gunda. I was so scared for my life and for the team of people that were with me that I had no choice but to quietly play along till I safely reached Bombay,” she added. After narrating the incident to media, the threats have become more rampant, the 'Race 2' actress said. She believes Chandra deserves punishment, as she feels much safer after reaching her house now. “It was a nasty experience for me. He misused my presence. He threatened to leave me in the village three hours away from Patna or else go by his demands. So I had no choice.  I kept quiet in Bihar. But when I reached Mumbai I had to let the world know the truth,” she added. “I could have been raped and killed because there was no security and it was madness. My car was surrounded at all times by his people and they would refuse to let my car move till I didn’t do things as per his wishes,” she added. The actress reiterated of feeling trapped with the leader, but had no choice than playing along to save herself. The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' star hasn't filed any formal complaint against the leader so far. Ameesha has also denied Prakash Chandra's claims of taking money from another candidate to campaign for him in the elections. She said, "Kindly ask him to show proof. A guilty person will say anything to defend himself. Chandra's men harassed me over 20 calls last evening and tried to blackmail me into taking money and speaking in favour of him. I played along with him as I wanted to trap him via media to expose him and his dirty behaviour." She added, " How come he leveled allegations of me taking money from opposition after I spoke the truth about him and his bad behaviour with me in Patna. Please ask him for proof. Neither have I taken money from Prakash Chandra last night to speak well about him nor any opposition to speak against him." Prakash Chandra, who is contesting from Obra assembly seat, is yet to react to the allegations. The campaigning in Bihar turned into a star-studded affair from Bollywood actors to Bhojpuri superstars wooing voters on behalf of parties and contestants. Now, only time will tell how this political mudslinging and allegations turn out for the fate of Bihar and its people.
