Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Ayushmann Khurrana & Vaani Kapoor Commence Shooting For Abhishek Kapoor's Romantic Drama

Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor will be seen romancing each other in 'Kedarnath' director Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming film 'Chandigarh Kare Aashqiui'.

New Delhi: Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana has managed to win the hearts with his power-packed performances in his films. The actor, who made his debut with 'Vicky Donor', has become one of the most sought after male stars in the Hindi film industry. 'Kedarnath' director Abhishek Kapoor has roped in Ayushmann for his upcoming project titled 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui'. The 'Badhaai Ho' actor will be seen romancing Vani Kapoor in the romantic drama. The makers of the love story have commenced the shoot of the flick in Khurrana's hometown Chandigarh. He expressed his excitement over shooting in his hometown for the first time. Ayushmann wrote, "Next stop: My hometown Chandigarh for the first time. Excited to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor's delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor co-starring Vaani Kapoor."

Vaani Kapoor also shared the same photos along with the caption, "It’s time to fall in love! Thrilled to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor's delightful progressive love story."

According to reports, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen playing the role of a cross-functional athlete in 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui'. The 'Dream Girl' actor is pairing up with Vaani Kapoor for the first time in his career. On the professional front, the 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' star was last seen in 'Gulabo Sitabo'. The Shoojit Sircar directorial, who also starred Amitabh Bachchan, premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video on June 12, 2020. Talking about Vaani Kapoor, the 'War' actress will be next seen in 'BellBottom'. The tinsel town recently returned to Mumbai after wrapping up the shoot of the espionage thriller in Scotland.
