K-Drama Actor Park Min Jae Passes Away At 32 In China After Cardiac Arrest

South Korean actor Park Min-Jae suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away on November 29 in China.

The 32-year-old South Korean actress Park Min-jae tragically passed away. The death of the rising K-drama actor was announced on December 2 by his agency, Big Title, and several media sources. Park Min-Jae died from cardiac arrest on November 29 while in China. His funeral is set for December 4 at 9:30 a.m. (local time), after a wake in his honour that will be held in Room 9 of the Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall.

In a statement, Big Title agency conveyed their sorrow, stating, “Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has departed for heaven.”

The agency further wrote, "We are deeply grateful for all the love and support you've shown Park Min Jae. Although we can no longer see him perform, we will proudly remember him as an actor of Big Title. May he rest in peace."

CEO of Big Title, Hwang Joo-hye, also shared her sorrow, writing, “The guy who said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip has gone on a much longer journey. It was so sudden and so shocking... The family must be feeling unimaginable sorrow... Min-jae, there’s still so much we wanted to say and do together. I was grateful to have been your representative, even if only for a short time, and I’m deeply sorry. I will never forget the name of actor Park Min-jae."

Park Min-jae’s Younger Brother Shares Emotional Farewell

In a touching social media post, Park Min jae's younger brother wrote,  "Our beloved brother has gone to rest. We hope as many people as possible can come to see him off. We kindly ask for your understanding as we are unable to personally contact everyone."

Fans and colleagues in the entertainment business are devastated by the news of Park Min-jae's death. Park Min-jae is known for his diverse performances in popular K-dramas including ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Little Women’, ‘Call It Love’ and ‘Korea–Khitan War’.
