‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ Actress Courteney Cox Recreates The Famous ‘Turkey Scene’ Wishing Thanksgiving In Monica Geller Style

Courteney Cox, who played the character of ‘Monica Geller’ took to her Instagram lately and recreated the iconic scene on the occasion of ‘Thanksgiving’ 22 years after the episode aired.

New Delhi: ‘Friends’ is one of the most loved sitcoms of all times. The show started to air from 1994 and till date, it happens to remain popular amongst the viewers. There are many iconic scenes in the series including the ‘Turkey Dance’ done by the popular character ‘Monica Geller’ to impress Chandler (played by Matthew Perry) in Season 5, Episode 8 titled ‘The One With All The Thanksgivings’. In this particular scene, Monica covers her head with an actual turkey, puts on sunglasses and performed a weird ‘Turkey dance’ to win over Chandler. She posted a video on Instagram revealing that she had enough of all the gifts and tokens referring to that moment. She said, “Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you're having a great day. I am feeling so thankful, and I if I get one more *beep* gift with that * beep* turkey dancing on my head, dancing like a fool, I'm gonna snap” She added, “So, anyway. Since I am the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. Hope it makes you happy.”

‘Friends’ lasted for 10 seasons and aired its last episode on May 6, 2014. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, this series stars an ensemble cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
