Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali has shared that she plans to visit India soon. In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Somy expressed her intention to meet Lawrence Bishnoi in jail. She also mentioned her wish to visit a temple to offer an apology.

Salman Khan's former girlfriend Somy Ali on the blackbuck killing case

Somy Ali said, "Salman didn’t know in 1998 that the animal he hunted was considered a god by the community. I can say with full confidence that Salman was not aware of this. I know this because when Salman returned from Jodhpur, he told me about it. I was in a relationship with him at that time."

“If he has committed a mistake without knowing, then is Salman Khan the only one who hunted in that area? Don't others do it? I want to go to the temple of the Bishnoi community and apologise. Salman Khan loves animals and children a lot. Salman Khan once got an injured cat treated in front of me. Will it come back if Salman is killed? What kind of logic is this?” she added.

Somy Ali further clarified that she has no intention of speaking to Salman Khan and has completely distanced herself from him. The actress, who has been advocating for women's rights for the past 17 years, firmly stated, "I stand against any form of violence."

Somy Ali's message for Lawrence Bishnoi

Somy Ali earlier posted on social media that she wanted to meet Lawrence Bishnoi and talk to him over a Zoom call, but she later deleted the post.

She took to her Instagram and shared a picture of Lawrence Bishnoi. “This is a direct message to Lawrence Bishnoi: Namaste, Lawrence bhai, suna bhi hai aur dekha bhi ke aap jail se bhi Zoom calls kar rahe ho, toh mujhe aapse kuch baatain karne hain. Kripya karke mujhe bataye ke yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Hamari puri duniya mai sabse pasand ki jagah Rajasthan hai. Hum aapke mandir aana chahate hain Pooja ke liye par pehle aapse Zoom call ho jaye Aur kuch baatain teh ho jaye Pooja ke baad. Phir yakeen maniyye ke yeh aapke fayade ki he baatain hain. Apna mobile number de dejiye bada ehsaan ho ga aap ka. Shukriya,” the caption read.

In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan stated that Salman Khan did not kill the blackbuck. He also mentioned that their entire family is living in fear due to the ongoing threats.

Salim Khan said, “Our freedom of movement has ended. We have to listen to what the police are saying. The police are saying this for us only. I am absolutely fine. Salman Khan has not killed any animals. Salman has never killed even a cockroach, so why should he apologise? We do not commit violence.”

He added, “We have helped many people through Being Human. People call us very honest people. Salim Khan also looked a little emotional.”

For those unfamiliar, Salman Khan was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan during the filming of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1998. He was sentenced to five years in prison but was later granted bail. The Bishnoi community, which Lawrence Bishnoi is part of, considers blackbucks sacred.
