Munawar Faruqui is now married

According to a Times Now report, a source close to Munawar Faruqui confirmed his marriage and said, "Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko. (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two)." The source further added, "Only the couple’s near and dear ones were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close knit function."

While the report suggested the wedding took place 10 to 12 days ago, the leaked photo claims the ceremony took place on Sunday, May 26. As per News18, their team couldn’t verify the claims. Meanwhile, there are also speculations that Munawar’s close friend Hina Khan might have attended the ceremony. The rumour is based on a selfie she recently shared with the background song ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.’

The surprising news of Munawar Faruqui's wedding comes shortly after reports of his hospitalization. On Friday, a Bollywood paparazzo shared a screenshot from Munawar’s friend’s Instagram story, featuring a photo of the stand-up comedian lying in a hospital bed. The caption read, “Wishing all the strength to my brother, Munawar. Get well soon.” Munawar’s former Bigg Boss 17 co-contestant, Rinku Dhawan, also commented on the post, writing, “get well soon,” along with a series of red heart and hug emojis.
