Kriti Sanon On National Award Win: 'Truly A Culmination Of Dreams, I’ve Been Nurturing And Manifesting For So Long'

Kriti Sanon received the National Award at the prestigious ceremony in Delhi on Tuesday, October 17. The actress received the award for her performance in Laxman Utekar's 2021 film 'Mimi.'

New Delhi: Kriti Sanon received the National Award at the prestigious ceremony in Delhi on Tuesday, October 17. The actress received the award for her performance in Laxman Utekar's 2021 film 'Mimi.'

Kriti Sanon attended the National Award Ceremony that was conducted in New Delhi where she was seen wearing an elegant ivory saree, with multi pastel coloured hues in pleats, looking nothing short of a dream!

When asked how she feels on this win, she said, "The surge of emotions that I’m feeling right now cannot be put to words honestly. Being a part of such a prestigious event, seeing your parents feel extremely proud of you and your journey while you are receiving such an honour, is truly like a culmination of dreams, I've been nurturing and manifesting for so long! Winning this award has left me feeling not just elated but also deeply humbled. It's a reminder that dreams do come true when you work hard for them! Kriti told ABP News, “I am too too excited, almost emotional. I cannot believe actually this is happening. I am still sinking it in, pinching myself. It is a big moment for me and my entire family. Mimi has been a very very special film and to get the most prestigious award, the National award for it, I just cannot thank the jury enough for actually believing that my performance deserved this award. I have no words, I am a little speechless with everything going on and too too overwhelmed” 

On the work front, she has an upcoming release, Ganapath which will hit theatres on 20th October, 2023. Apart from this, she also has her maiden production debut film, ‘Do Patti’ and Rhea Kapoor’s, ‘The Crew’.
