Kareena Kapoor Walks Past Shahid Kapoor At Awards Show Without Acknowledging Him, WATCH

New Delhi: When Hollywood actor Vanessa Hudgens ran into her almost ten-year boyfriend Austin Butler at an Oscars party, the awkward moment between the two captured the attention of fans. At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards on Tuesday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan ran into her ex-boyfriend, actor Shahid Kapoor, in a similar situation. Social media users shared numerous images and videos of the awkward encounter on the red carpet.

In the video, Shahid was shown with directors Raj and DK, holding their awards, on the red carpet. Talking to someone, Kareena and her entourage came in for the award show. She was wearing a gorgeous heavily embellished golden lehenga. Kareena strode by Shahid without saying hello, which increased the intensity of the moment that was caught on video, even though she halted momentarily to greet the filmmakers.

Fans of Kareena and Shahid were eager to point out how awkward the interaction was. "Shahid smiled in response to Kareena's apparent disregard," wrote one fan. The romance between Kareena and Shahid started in 2004 on the sets of Fida and lasted until 2007, when they broke up while shooting Jab We Met. They also acted in the films Udta Punjab (2016) and Chup Chup Ke (2006). However, in 'Udta Punjab', the two didn't share a scene. Since then, both actors have carried on with their lives.

Kareena Kapoor Khan tied-the-knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012 after dating him for a few years. The couple is parents to their two sons: Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in 2015 and has two kids: a daughter named Misha and a son named Zain.
