Additionally, internationally acclaimed American pop band OneRepublic is also in talks to join the celebration with a live performance.

According to the Hindustan Times, several renowned Bollywood personalities have been invited to the glittering ceremony. “Shah Rukh Khan is expected to attend since his team is playing the opening match, while Salman Khan might make an appearance to promote his upcoming film, Sikandar,” Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.
Performances by Bollywood celebs and One Republic
The opening night is set to deliver an electrifying mix of entertainment, featuring breathtaking stage acts and dynamic musical performances. According to the report, a power-packed lineup of artists—including Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani, Karan Aujla, Arijit Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan—will set the stage on fire.
“Pop band OneRepublic, who recently collaborated with Karan Aujla and Disha Patani on Tell Me, has also been approached to perform at the ceremony,” the source told Hindustan Times.

Apart from the performers, the event is expected to see the presence of many other Bollywood stars, including Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Triptii Dimri, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, Janhvi Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela, Pooja Hegde, Kareena Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Sara Ali Khan.
About IPL 2025
The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to commence on March 22, with the final scheduled for May 25. This season will feature a total of 74 matches played across 13 venues. The opening clash will witness defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens.
