Angioplasty is a medical procedure to open blockages in the coronary arteries. This procedure aims to re-establish adequate blood flow to the heart muscle, without necessitating open-heart surgery.
Amitabh's recent wrist surgery
Earlier this year, he underwent surgery for his wrist. In January, he shared images on his blog alongside Akshay Kumar, donning a sling on his wrist, explaining, "Akshay, one of the owners (of ISPL)..and an explanation to him about the surgery on my hand."
Last March, while filming for 'Kalki 2898 AD' in Hyderabad, Bachchan encountered another setback. The harness used during shooting strained his back, necessitating bed rest. This incident resulted in a torn muscle and strained rib cartilage, further delaying his work commitments. These health concerns prevented him from attending the San Diego Comic Con last year.
On the work front
Big B, was recently shooting for Nag Ashwin’s 'Kalki 2898 AD'. He wrote about it in his blog, "Late nights again... but late from work last night... as the completion of KALKI approaches... and as has been informed it is May 9th for the release... So, the last efforts to get everything in shape and in order to bring to all an experience that promises the vision of the makers."
He reunited with superstar Rajinikanth after thirty-three years for his 170th film 'Thalaivar 170.' They wrapped up the Mumbai shoot of the film in October last year.
