Ayushmann Khurrana's Upcoming Film 'An Action Hero' To Be Shot In London

The shoot for ‘An Action Hero’ will take place in London as well as Mumbai later this month, announced the producers on Tuesday.

New Delhi: ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ actor Ayushman Khurana is all set to shoot for his next, ‘An Action Hero’ in London.

The shoot for ‘An Action Hero’ will take place in London as well as Mumbai later this month, announced the producers on Tuesday. It is going to be the first time that Ayushman will be shooting for a film in London. It is also rumoured that Patal Lok fame, Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen as a villain.

The announcement about the commencement of the project was first made in October last year. Ayushman took to his Instagram to share an animated teaser of the film. He added a caption, “Dikkat Bas Ek Hi Hai, Mujhe Ladne Ki Acting Aati Hai, Ladna Nahin Super excited for a genre-breaking collab ONCE AGAIN with @Aanandlrai and #BhushanKumar! This one’s special! #ActionHero. Directed By - @iyer.anirudh. Written By - @neeraj.yadav911 & #AnirudhIyer .”

The narrative of the film revolves around an actor who is forced to become a real-life action hero and is loaded with an offbeat satirical sense of humour.

The film is directed by Anirudh Iyer and it will mark his directorial debut. It will see T-Series, Anand L Rai’s banner Colour Yellow Productions and Kishan Kumar joining in as producers.

Speaking about the film, Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Director of T-Series, said, “An Action Hero has a quirky and fresh storyline and who better than Ayushmann Khurrana could fit the role. We are enthralled to commence it’s shoot in London and can’t contain our excitement for audiences to witness this entertainment from Anand L Rai’s stable.”

Anand L Rai added to this excitement by saying, “We are excited about An Action Hero finally going on the floors and seeing Ayushmann breathe life into the character. The movie is going to be an out-of-the-box entertaining story.”
