Prayers Being Read In Pakistan For I.N.D.I.A Bloc’s Win, Jihadis Supporting Them: PM Modi In Gorakhpur

PM Narendra Modi criticised the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, accusing them of receiving support from Pakistan and jihadis. He claimed the opposition bloc would reinstate Article 370 and repeal the CAA if it came to power.

During his rally in Uttar Pradesh's Bansgaon on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the I.N.D.I.A bloc, comprising the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, accusing them of receiving support from Pakistan and jihadis. "Prayers are being read for the win of the INDI alliance of SP and Congress in Pakistan. Jihadis are supporting them from beyond the borders. SP and Congress are appealing for 'Vote-Jihad'," PM Modi asserted.

Highlighting the opposition's stance on Article 370 and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Modi said, "The INDI alliance says they will reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and repeal the CAA, which grants citizenship to refugees. This is exactly what anti-India forces want; why does the INDI alliance want the same?"

In Gorakhpur district's Bansgaon, PM Modi accused the Congress of obstructing India's defence sector progress. "It won’t be long before BrahMos missiles are manufactured in UP. The BrahMos missile is in demand worldwide, but Congress created roadblocks for countries wanting to purchase it. The INDI alliance doesn't want India to become self-reliant in defence or to export weapons; they prefer foreign arms deals that bring them commissions," he remarked in reference to an exclusive report by ABP News. ALSO READ ON ABP LIVE | EXCLUSIVE: Did UPA Govt Stall India’s BrahMos Exports To Foreign Nations?

"The Samajwadi Party has consistently conspired to keep Purvanchal backward. The people of Purvanchal will punish those who betrayed this region, set homes on fire, seized lands, and empowered rioters and mafia. Such people will not be allowed to set foot in Purvanchal," he declared.

‘Yogi Ji Acche Acchon Ki Garmi Utaarne Me Expert Hain’: PM Modi In Bansgaon

Targeting SP's 2012 election manifesto, Modi reminded first-time voters, "In 2012, SP's manifesto clearly stated that Muslims would receive the same reservation as Dalits, as given by Baba Saheb Ambedkar. This goes against the spirit of the Constitution, but the INDI alliance doesn't care."

Praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Modi said, "Mafias have built mansions on government land under the Samajwadi Party. But since Yogi Ji took over, the situation has changed. Our Yogi Ji is an expert in bringing even the powerful to heel."

Looking ahead to the Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi expressed confidence in the region's support. "Purvanchal will launch an assault on the I.N.D.I.A bloc in the seventh phase of the polls," he proclaimed.

PM Modi also highlighted the significance of June 4, 2024, for India's future. "Starting June 4, the countdown to India becoming the world's third-largest economy begins. This means more opportunities for every Indian to progress and increase their income. June 4 is a date that will shape India's future, as we embark on a journey towards a developed nation," he stated.

In his Gorakhpur rally, Modi emphasised the benefits of his government's schemes, "Those 3 crore poor who will get pucca houses, elderly people above 70 years who will receive free treatment up to Rs 5 lakhs, crores of youth benefitting from the Mudra scheme, and the 3 crore sisters of self-help groups who will become 'Lakhpati didis', are all looking forward to June 4."

Modi also highlighted Uttar Pradesh's transformation under the Yogi Adityanath government. "Palaces of mafia built on public land are being torn down to make houses for the poor," he said, promising continued efforts to uplift the underprivileged in Uttar Pradesh.
