Accompanying Modi were Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, and BJP candidate from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat, Ravi Shankar Prasad.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded a grand roadshow in the capital of Bihar, Patna, on Sunday, drawing an enormous crowd eager to greet him. Perched atop a saffron-coloured vehicle fashioned as a chariot, PM Modi waved to the throngs of people lining both sides of the road.

Accompanying Modi were Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, and BJP candidate from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat, Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The enthusiastic crowd cheered for the prime minister, brandishing cutouts of the BJP's election symbol, the 'lotus', as Modi acknowledged them from his elevated position.

The 2.5-km long roadshow, commencing at 7:15 PM from Bhattacharya Road-Pirmuhani crossing, concluded at Udyog Bhavan near Gandhi Maidan

Following the roadshow, the Prime Minister retired for the night at the Raj Bhavan.

War Of Words In Bihar's Political Circle Ahead Of PM's Visit

In response to PM Modi's visit, political reactions have surfaced, with supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son, also an RJD leader, Tej Pratap voicing their words.

"PM Modi is coming to create a rift between Hindu-Muslims, he has only one motive to divide the country into two...This dream will never get fulfilled...Roadshow in Bihar will have no effect... Bihar belongs to Lalu Yadav and I.N.D.I.A bloc... There will be no '400 paar', I am predicting that the I.N.D.I.A bloc will form the government in the centre," Tej Pratap remarked, as reported by ANI.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary countered, "His father (Lalu Prasad Yadav) ruled for 34 years... Has he (Tejashwi Yadac) done any work yet? For 15 years, his father did not give reservation to a single person in Bihar. Lalu Prasad is against reservation and the Constitution..."
