ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll: 61% Maha Voters Want Narendra Modi As PM, But 37% Unhappy With Shinde Govt

As per the latest survey in April, 41% of the people in Maharashtra preferred NDA while 41% of the people preferred I.N.D.I.A alliance.

Forty-three percent of the people in Maharashtra are satisfied with the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while 35% of the respondents said they are unsatisfied with the work of the Eknath Shinde government, a survey report has said.

ABP News, in association with CVoter, conducted an opinion Poll asking Maharashtra respondents if they are satisfied with the work of the central government and whether they are happy with their Chief Minister and Prime Minister. 

As per the survey report, only 31% of the respondents said they were fully satisfied with the work the central government, while 35% of the people said they were unsatisfied with the work of the centre.

When it comes to the Eknath Shinde's government in Maharashtra, only 23% of the people said they were fully satisfied with the work of the Mahayuti government in the state, while another 37% of the people said they were unsatisfied.

However, the popularity of the prime minister remained intact as 61% of the people preferred Narendra Modi for the top post and 29% of the people preferred Rahul Gandhi for the PM's position.

But, only 43% of the people in Maharashtra said they were satisfied with the work of PM Modi and 28% of the people said they were unsatisfied with the work of the prime minister.

The trend was concerning for Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as only 30% of the people said they were very satisfied with the work of the chief minister and 35% said they were unsatisfied with his work.

There are 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, and the elections will be held in five phases between April 19 and May 20. 

As per the latest survey in April, 41% of the people in Maharashtra preferred NDA while 41% of the people preferred I.N.D.I.A alliance. In the survey result of last month,  43% of the people preferred NDA and 42% of the people preferred I.N.D.I.A alliance.
