'Politics Of Work Vs Politics Of Abuse': Kejriwal's Reaction After Delhi Election Dates Announcement

Delhi Assembly election dates: Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister, addressed AAP workers in an X post and said this election would be a war between the politics of work and abuse.

After the Delhi Assembly poll dates were announced on Tuesday, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said this election was a war between the politics of work and the politics of abuse. "The date of the election has been announced. All the workers should be ready to enter the fray with full strength and enthusiasm. Their big systems fail in front of your passion. You are our biggest strength," he said addressing Aam Aadmi Party workers in an X post.

"This election will be between the politics of work and the politics of abuse. The people of Delhi will have faith in our politics of work. We shall definitely win," he said.

The AAP had accused both the BJP and its INDIA bloc partner Congress of abusing the party's leaders. Congress leader Ajay Maken had even called Kejriwal "anti-national", which sparked a demand by the AAP to get the Grand Old Party removed from the "united" Opposition alliance.

BSP Leader Joins AAP

The AAP received a shot in the arm just before the elections on Tuesday when senior Bahujan Samaj Party leader Madan Mohan and his wife, former councillor Sudesh Vati, joined the party. “It is a matter of great pleasure for AAP to have Madan Mohan and his wife join our party... I can say with full confidence that AAP will win with a huge majority in the Palam Assembly constituency now. I want to congratulate both of them,” AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was quoted as saying by news agency ANI. The AAP's candidate in the Palam constituency is Joginder Solanki.
