'By The Family, For The Family, Of The Family': PM Modi Slams BRS, Congress Over 'Family First' Politics

Regarding the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the support received for NDA and noted the BJP's momentum following the third phase of voting.

Launching a scathing attack on BRS and Congress in Telangana, PM Narendra Modi emphasised BJP's commitment to 'nation first' policy, contrasting it with Congress and BRS's 'family first' approach. On Wednesday, he criticised the alleged corruption and appeasement politics linking Congress and BRS on these fronts. Regarding the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the support received for NDA and noted the BJP's momentum following the third phase of voting.

In his address to a public meeting in Telangana's Karimnagar, PM Narendra Modi said, "BJP always works on the 'nation first' policy whereas Congress and BRS work on the principle of 'family first'. Their political parties are like 'by the family, for the family, of the family'. Congress and BRS are no different and what connects them? Corruption, appeasement politics and the model of zero governance connect these two parties..."

PM Modi claimed alleged disrespect towards former PM PV Narasimha Rao even after his death. He said, "Due to this policy of 'family first', Congress has disrespected PV Narasimha Rao, even after his death, they denied the entry of his dead body in the Congress' office. BJP-NDA govt respected PV Narasimha Rao by awarding Bharat Ratna to him..."

The PM remarked on the recently concluded third phase of Lok Sabha elections and alleged that the alliance between Congress and INDI suffered setbacks. 

PM Modi said: "Yesterday, the third phase of voting (for Lok Sabhal elections) took place in the country. In the third phase, the third fuse of Congress and INDI alliance has blown up. Four phases of voting are still left, people's blessing is pushing the victory chariot of the BJP and NDA with great pace."

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada, located in the Karimnagar district.

Following his temple visit, Prime Minister Modi addressed a public gathering in Karimnagar at 10 a.m. He then proceeded to Warangal for another address at noon, engaging with the electorate on pivotal issues and rallying support for his party.

Continuing his campaign efforts, Prime Minister Modi's itinerary on Wednesday includes a public meeting in Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh, scheduled for 3:45 p.m., followed by a roadshow in Vijayawada at around 7 p.m.
