Mysore: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Prathap Simha from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 31608 votes. The polling / voting in Mysore constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Pratap Simha and Congress Party#s Vijayshankar
Mysore 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 17 out of the 28 parliamentary seat with 43 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 9 seats with a 40.8 percent vote share.
