New Delhi: The polling in Mehrauli constituency in the 2020 Assembly Election elections took place on 8th February. Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Naresh Yadav, Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Kusum Khatri while Mohinder Choudhary is contesting on Congress Party ticket. Voting in Mehrauli Assembly was held on 8 February in which 56.53% voters exercised their vote. Counting of votes in Mehrauli Assembly will begin today from 8 am, whose latest information will be available on this page.

• 1993 Assembly Elections: In 2nd Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC here BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 7021 votes.

• 1998 Assembly Elections: In Third Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and IND here BJP candidate defeated his IND counterpart with a difference of 2607 votes.

• 2003 Assembly Elections: In 4th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 11656 votes. Here, INC leader Balram Tanwar attained 40595 votes and BJP candidate Brahm Singh Tanwar bagged 28939 votes

• 2008 Assembly Elections: In Fifth Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between INC and BJP here INC candidate defeated his BJP counterpart with a difference of 1108 votes.

• 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and AAP here BJP candidate defeated his AAP counterpart with a difference of 4564 votes.

Among major parties, 36(51%) out of 70 candidates analysed from AAP, 17(25%) out of 67 candidates analysed from BJP, 13(20%) out of 66 candidates analysed from INC, 10 (15%) out of 66 candidates analysed from BSP and 2(40%) out of 5 candidates from NCP have declared serious criminal cases against themselves in their affidavits.
