Background
Kurukshetra: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Raj Kumar Saini from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 129736 votes. The polling / voting in Kurukshetra constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Shri Nayab Singh Saini and Congress Party#s Nirmal Singh
Kurukshetra 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 7 out of the 10 parliamentary seat with 34.7 percent vote share while the Indian National Lok Dal managed to win just 2 seats with a 24.4 percent vote share.
