Kokrajhar: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Naba Kumar Sarania (Hira) from Independent (IND) won the elections by a margin of 355779 votes. The polling / voting in Kokrajhar constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bodoland People's Front#s Pramila Rani Brahma and Congress Party#s Sabda ram rabha

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 7 out of the 14 parliamentary seat with 36.5 percent vote share while the All India United Democratic Front managed to win just 3 seats with a 14.8 percent vote share.

• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Independent candidate defeated URMCA candidate with a difference of 41432 votes. Here, Independent leader Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary attained 192975 votes and URMCA candidate Theodor Kisku Rapaz bagged 151543 votes

बीजेपी अध्यक्ष अमित शाह ने क्योंझर की रैली में कहा कि कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक, ओडिशा से गुजरात तक, लोग मोदी के समर्थन में नारे लगा रहे हैं. मोदी फिर से सत्ता में आए तो ओडिशा के क्योंझर में स्टील संयंत्र लगाया जाएगा.

कांग्रेस ने केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी पर अपने चुनावी हलफनामे में झूठ बोलने का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि उन्हें नैतिकता के आधार पर मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देना चाहिए और चुनाव आयोग को उन्हें अयोग्य ठहराना चाहिए.

बहुजन समाज पार्टी ने राजस्थान की पांच और सीटों से अपने प्रत्याशियों की घोषणा कर दी है. पार्टी की नयी सूची में उसने बीकानेर से भैराराम मेघवाल, चुरू से हरि सिंह चाहर, सीकर से सीतादेवी, जयपुर ग्रामीण से विरेंद्र सिंह विधूड़़ी और करौली धौलपुर से रामकुमार बैरवा को टिकट दी है. इससे पहले दो सूची में पार्टी राज्य के लिए क्रमश: पांच और छह प्रत्याशियों के नामों की घोषणा कर चुकी है. उल्लेखनीय है कि बाड़मेर सीट से बीएसपी प्रत्याशी और बर्खास्त आईपीएस पंकज चौधरी का पर्चा खारिज हो चुका है. दिसंबर 2018 में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में पार्टी ने छह सीटें जीतीं और खासकर पूर्वी राजस्थान की कुछ लोकसभा सीटों पर उसका अच्छा खासा जनाधार है.
