Background

Domariyaganj: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Jagdambika Pal from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 103588 votes. The polling / voting in Domariyaganj constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Jagdambika Pal, MP and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Aftab Alam

Domariyaganj 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Domariyaganj Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 53.08% Lok Sabha percent with 50.95% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 55.65% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 6776 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 17 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Domariyaganj, 14 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Jagdambika Pal of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Muhammad Muqeem by a margin of 103588 votes.

  • 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 52902 votes BSP candidate Mohd. Muqueem had got 202544 while INC got Jagdambika Pal votes.
  • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 35567 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Ram Pal Singh attained 198263 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Mohd Mukim bagged 162696 votes
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate by a margin of 74091 votes BJP candidate Ram Pal Singh had got 250569 while BSP got Kamal Yusuf Malik votes.
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Samajwadi Party candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 25923 votes. Here, Samajwadi Party leader Brij Bhushan Tiwari attained 191675 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Rampal Singh bagged 165752 votes
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 58117 votes BJP candidate Rampal Singh had got 197748 while INC got Mohsina Kidwai (W) votes.
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, JD candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 65140 votes JD candidate Brij Bhushan Tiwari had got 264696 while INC got Kaji Jalil Abbasi votes.
  • 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated LKD candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Kazi Jalil Abbasi attained 226388 votes and LKD's Brij Bhushan Tiwari bagged 113401 votes.
  • 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated JNP candidate by a margin of 65467 votes INC(I) candidate Kazi Jalil Abbasi had got 164569 while JNP got Madho Prasad Tripathi votes.
  • 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Madhav Prasad Tripathi attained 266876 votes and INC's Keshav Deo Malviya bagged 108050 votes.
  • 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BJS candidate by a margin of 63583 votes INC candidate Keshav Dev Malviya had got 143967 while BJS got Pandit Narain Swarup Sharma votes.
  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 29992 votes. Here, BJS leader N. S. Sharma attained 128569 votes and INC candidate K. D. Malviya bagged 98577 votes
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and JS here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his JS counterpart with a difference of 1579 votes.
  • 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 66445 votes INC candidate Ram Shanker Lal had got 110060 while IND got Dharam Nath votes.

3 बजे तक की गिनती के हिसाब से बीजेपी अब भी सातों सीटों पर बढ़त बनाए हुए है. पूर्वी दिल्ली से बीजेपी के उम्मीदवार और पूर्व क्रिकेटर गौतम गंभीर 4 लाख से अधिक वोटों के साथ पहले स्थान पर बने हुए हैं. जबकि दूसरे स्थान पर कांग्रेस के नेता अरविंदर सिंह लवली 195000 वोटों के साथ हैं. आप की आतिशि शुरुआती से ही तीसरे स्थान पर हैं. उन्हे आखिरी अपडेट तक कुल 1 लाख 40 हज़ार से अधिक वोट मिले हैं

दिल्ली की एकमात्र आरक्षित सीट उत्तर पश्चिम पर बीजेपी के उम्मीदवार बाकी सभी उम्मीदवारों से बड़े अंतर से आगे. हंसराज हंस को मिले हैं, 2,23,000 से अधिक वोट. दूसरे नंबर के उम्मीदवार गुग्गन सिंह से 1,51,000 से अधिक वोटों से आगे. दिल्ली में और कोई भी बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार अब तक इतने मतों से आगे नहीं है
