Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the ANM post, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Intermediate (Class 12) from a recognised board.
- Completed an ANM training program lasting 1.5 to 2 years.
- Registered with the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Possess a valid PET-2023 scorecard (candidates with zero or negative scores will be disqualified).
Additional preference will be granted to candidates with:
- NCC ‘B’ certificates.
- At least two years of service in the Territorial Army.
Age Limits
Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years old as of July 1, 2024. Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST and other reserved categories per government guidelines. Contract-based ANMs may also be eligible for age relaxation according to their years of service.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 25 for all categories, including OBC, SC, ST, and women applicants. Disabled candidates and dependents of freedom fighters will pay according to their primary category. Payment can only be made online through methods such as net banking, UPI, or card payments.
UP ANM Selection Process
PET 2023 Score: Candidates must have a valid PET-2023 score to move to the next stage. Zero or negative scores result in disqualification.
Main Written Exam: Shortlisted candidates from PET will take the main online exam, consisting of 100 questions with a 120-minute duration, focusing on ANM-related knowledge.
Document Verification and Medical Test: Candidates passing the main exam will undergo document verification to confirm eligibility and a medical fitness test to ensure readiness for the role.
