NEET UG Counselling 2023: Reporting Portal For Round-1 Reopened Till August 9 - Check Details

Institutions which have admitted students in the offline mode can share the data of admitted students with the MCC by 03:00 PM tomorrow, August 9, 2023.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the reporting portal for the NEET UG Counselling 2023 Round-1. The reporting portal shall be open till 03:00 PM tomorrow, AUgust 9, 2023. The reopening of the reporting portal comes following requests from some institutions which have admitted students in the offline mode. Such colleges which have not admitted students online and have not filled the data of students admitted on the MCC portal can do the same till tomorrow. Concerned institutes must note that the MCC has reopened the reporting portal as a ‘one-time measure only,’ and has said that it will not entertain any further request of reopening the portal. 

The MCC notified the reopening of the reporting portal through an official notice on its website. “Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS is in receipt of requests from some colleges, who have taken ‘Offline’ admissions of allotted candidates for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2023 in spite of the time provided for verification on 5 th & 6th August, 2023. In the larger interest of the candidates, MCC is re-opening the Reporting portal for Round-1 as a one time measure,” reads the official notice.

“Colleges who have not taken admission online and filled in the details of admitted Round-1 candidates on intramcc portal may do so now up to 03:00 P.M of 09.08.2023. Any request for extending the time further will not be entertained by MCC. Colleges/ Institutes are directed to stick to time schedules and follow timelines stringently in future,” the notice adds further. 

Notably, the MCC started the NEET UG Counselling 2023 for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS programmes at several medical colleges across the country. The seat allotment result for the Round-1 counselling was released on July 29, and candidates who were allotted seats in the first round were required to report at their allotted institutes from July 31 to August 4. Institutions on the other hand were required to verify and share the data of admitted students with the MCC between August 5 and 6, 2023.
