UP Police Computer Operator Recruitment 2024: Application Deadline Extended Till January 31

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has extended the application deadline for the UP Police recruitment 2024 for the post of grade-A computer officer posts. Interested applicants who wish to participate in the recruitment drive, but are yet to apply for the same can submit their applications on uppbpb.gov.in. As per the previous schedule, the last date to apply for the UP Police Computer Operator Recruitment 2024 was January 28, 2024. 

Interested candidates are advised to briefly check the eligibility criteria before applying for the UP Police Computer Operator, Programmer Recruitment 2024. The online application fee for both posts is Rs 400. Candidates may also note that to apply for the recruitment, they will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 400. 

To apply for the post of computer operator, candidates must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board or university with Physics and Mathematics, and should also have completed the ‘O’ level examination in Computer. Also, to apply for the computer operator post, candidates must be aged between 18 to 28 years of age as of July 1, 2023. However, candidates are advised to carefully go through the detailed eligibility criteria for teh recruitment before applying. 

Notably, the UPPRPB is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 930 vacancies for the posts of Computer Operator in UP Police. The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done based on an online written examination. 

The written examination shall consist of a total 160 questions for a maximum of 200 marks. Each correct response in the exam shall reward candidates with 1.25 marks. The exam paper shall consist of two sections where each section will carry 100 marks, and a time limit of 2.5 hours. The paper shall consist of questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Computer Knowledge.
