EPFO Exam 2020: UPSC Allows Candidates To Change Choice Of Exam Centre; Check Dates Here

UPSC revealed that a lot of candidates requested to be given the option to change their exam centre as it is slated to be held across 72 centres in the country. Check the dates here.

New Delhi: Candidates who had applied for the posts of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer in the Employees' Provident Fund Organization will be allowed to change their preferences for the exam centre, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced. ALSO READ | Odisha 2019 Civil Services Exam Postponed: OPSC OCS Main Examination Rescheduled Due To Bharat Bandh; Check New Dates, Venue The UPSC EPFO exam is going to be held on May 9, 2021, and the window to enable candidates in changing their exam centre preference will be open in two phases: December 15 to December 21 and then December 29 to January 4. UPSC revealed that a lot of candidates requested to be given the option to change their exam centre as it is slated to be held across 72 centres in the country. "The requests of the candidates for change in their centres will be considered against the available capacities at the existing centres as well as new centres which have been added," the UPSC has said. The UPSC EPFO exam will have a two-hour duration and all questions will carry equal marks. There will be objective type questions in both English and Hindi. Candidates who pass in the written test will be called to appear for an interview. The exam and interview's weightage is to be divided in the ratio of 75:25. A total of 421 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment. Through this recruitment, about 421 vacancies will be filled. It was notified in January 2020 but as with other exams, candidates have had to shift their base during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence after the Civil Services exam, the option has been extended to this drive as well.
