IIM Lucknow's Annual Cultural And Sports Fest Kicks Off With 30,000 Participants

The festival includes over 30,000 participants from colleges around the country in a variety of competitions. Manfest-Varchasva returns to offline mode after three years and promises to be bigger and better!

Manfest-Varchasva, IIM Lucknow's annual business, cultural, and sports festival, began on February 10, 2023. On February 10, 2023, the celebration was launched by Director Prof. Archana Shukla and senior IAS Officer Ashok Khemka. She expressed her delight at the fest's return to offline format after three years and stated that the sessions with famous speakers will be beneficial to the kids, according to the press statement.

"The participants displayed zeal and enthusiasm as they proved their mettle in Joust, the debate competition. In addition to this, they displayed their dramatic skills in Halla Bol, the mono-act competition. This event was judged by Bollywood fame actor Mohammad Sarwar Mir," reads the official statement.

The eminent leaders who interacted with the students today were Ashok Khemka, IAS Officer, Additional Chief Secretary, Archives Department, Rahul Shinde, CEO, Yum brands at Devyani International Limited, T.V. Rao, Ex-IIM A prof & Father of Human Resource Development and Kamlesh Varshney, IRS officer, Expert in Indian Tax Policy.

"The participants lit the streets with their scintillating moves in Vibes - the freestyle solo dance competition and Inferno – the street dance challenge. The music lover turned up the heat with their unique combination of chords and magical symphonies in Stairway to Hell, the rock band competition," further reads the statement. 

The Supply Chain workshop is being presented by Mr. Venkatesh Seshadri, Head of Supply Chain Consulting at CII Institute of Logistics, in association with Manfest-Varchasva. It was a great chance to learn important knowledge and skills necessary for a company's expansion. Participants were able to increase their knowledge of supply chain management thanks to the session.

The day also saw the conclusion of three management case competitions: Maestro by ICICI Lombard, Vitanium by Union Bank, and Strategica by Costa Coffee.

The participants are in for an engaging experience over the course of the next two days filled with fun, frolic, and learning.
