HPPSC Recruitment 2018 application process has begun on hppsc.hp.gov.in to fill 228 Medical Officer, Assistant Professor and other vacancies in various departments in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is inviting applications from male and female candidates, who can submit their applications on or before 28th December 2018 by registering through a One Time Registration (OTR) process. Vacancy Details: Medical Officer – 208 posts Public Analyst-cum Chemical Examiner – 1 post Deputy Government Analyst, Class-II (Gazetted) – 2 posts Principal, Class-I (Gazetted) – 1 post Professor (Ras-Shastra) Class-I (Gazetted) – 1 post Assistant Professor – 15 posts Pharmaceutical Chemist, Class-II (Non Gazetted) – 1 post Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Medical Officer – The applicant should possess recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act1956. Public Analyst-cum Chemical Examiner – The applicant must be holding Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Nutrition or Medicine or Science or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Deputy Government Analyst, Class-II (Gazetted) – The applicant must be a graduate in Medicine or Science or Medical Laboratory technology or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Principal, Class-I (Gazetted) – The applicant must be holding a post graduate degree in Ayurveda Sciences in any one subject of Ayurveda. Professor (Ras-Shastra) Class-I (Gazetted) – The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University; and post graduate degree in particular branch of specialty from any recognized institute laid down by law or the degree recognized by CCIM or H.P. Government; and should have studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the course of Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda. Assistant Professor – Eligibility criteria varies for this post. Candidates must refer to the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Pharmaceutical Chemist – The applicant must be holding a Master Degree of Pharmacy. Age-Limit: The applicant must be below 45 years of age. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below. Selection Process: Candidates will need to undergo a screening test, personality test, and computer based test/offline tests as part of the selection process.
