CBSE, CISCE Board Exam 2021 Highlights: Centre Submits Its Plan For Class 12 Evaluation

CBSE CISCE Board Exam 2021 SC Hearing Live Updates: A division bench led by Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari is scheduled to hear the petition at 11 am today. The petition was filed by Advocate Mamta seeking cancellation of the CBSE and ICSE Class 12 board exams and the plea seeking the cancellation of the Class 12 State Boards, HSC, and NIOS physical exams were filed by Child rights activist Anubha Srivastava and 7 others.

CBSE CISCE Board Exam 2021 Live: The Supreme Court will hear a plea seeking the cancellation of Class 12th state board exams and on the decision on the evaluation criterion for students amidst the ongoing covid-19 pandemic on Thursday, June 17, 2021. A division bench led by Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari is scheduled to hear the petition at 11 am today. The petition was filed by Advocate Mamta seeking cancellation of the CBSE and ICSE Class 12 board exams and the plea seeking the cancellation of the Class 12 State Boards, HSC, and NIOS physical exams were filed by Child rights activist Anubha Srivastava and 7 others.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) are expected to submit the evaluation criterion for the students of class 12 to SC today.

Earlier, on June 1, the board had canceled the CBSE class 12 board examination amidst the continuing upsurge in covid-19 cases across the country. The decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021 came after the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the class 12 board examination that was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, evening. The apex court had expressed its satisfaction regarding the Central government's decision to cancel the class 12 board exam. The court had further directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) to come up with the well-framed objective criterion based on which the students of the class 12 board will be evaluated this year.
