Allahabad University Recruitment 2019: The University of Allahabad will commence the online application process for 558 teaching positions on 15th April 2019. In the latest notice issued on its official website – allduniv.ac.in, the central university has notified extension of the date of uploading application forms for the recruitment of teaching positions viz Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The notice stated the start date and closing date of the recruitment process and read, “The date of uploading of the detailed advertisement for teaching posts and application forms is extended upto 15 April 2019. The last date of submitting the application forms will be 15 May 2019.” The development comes in the wake of a meeting of the Executive Council of the University of Allahabad yesterday, i.e. 10th April 2019, wherein the council discussed the recruitment process for 558 vacant teaching positions on the varsity campus which need to be filled on the basis of 200 point roster system directed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The council decided that it will call upon 10 candidates for each vacant post as per latest screening norms of UGC. The Allahabad University had issued a brief notification via Advt No: UoA/Asso Prof/01/2019 and was to organize the online application process from 18th March 2019 to 16th April 2019. However the same has got delayed and will now be organized from 15th April 2019 to 15th May 2019.
