Delhi Man Attempts Suicide After Killing His Wife & 2 Minor Sons, Including 4-Month-Old Baby

The man, identified as Rajesh (38), allegedly killed his 35-year-old wife, his five-year-old son, and four-month-old baby. The police reached his house and found Rajesh, along with the three dead bodies.

New Delhi: A 38-year-old man killed his wife and two sons, including a four-month-old infant, before attempting to die by suicide. The case has been reported from west Delhi's Mohan Garden area on Sunday. The man was trying to take such drastic steps due to financial issues, the police told PTI.

The incident was reported from Vipin Garden. The man, identified as Rajesh (38), allegedly killed his 35-year-old wife and two sons aged five years and four months. After killing his wife and sons, Rajesh inflicted a deep injury on his wrist, police said, adding that he is under treatment in a hospital.

As per a report by PTI, Rajesh had sent messages to his friends about his financial issues, in the early hours of Sunday. Rajesh's friends said they alerted his brother who then informed the police around 6 am, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan was reported as saying by PTI.

The police reached the spot and found Rajesh, along with the three bodies of his wife and two children. Rajesh who runs a general store had informed his friends about a financial loss. A case of murder will be registered at the Mohan Garden police station, the DCP said.

"He had informed his friends about a huge financial loss. We've registered murder case at PS Mohan Garden", Harsha Vardhan told ANI.

Earlier, Rajesh used to run a company that was engaged in ISO certification-related work. 

The parents of the man, both aged over 75 years, were present in another room when the incident took place and police spoke to them.
