Kerala Man Kills Live-In Partner With Pressure Cooker Over Suspicion Of Affair, Arrested
A Kerala man has killed his live-in partner with a pressure cooker over suspicion that she was having an affair in Karnataka.
In a shocking incident, a man has been arrested from Karnataka for allegedly killing his live-in partner with a pressure cooker over the suspicion that she was having an affair with someone, reported ANI. The couple used to fight over the issue and on Sunday, the man hit a pressure cooker on her head after which the woman died. Police said that both of them belonged to Kerala. According to Police, a case of murder has been registered against the accused and interrogation is on in the matter, as per ANI.
"A 24-year-old man, Vaishnav arrested by Police for allegedly killing his live-in partner Devi (24) by hitting her with a pressure cooker on her head. The incident occurred in the Mico Layout Police Station area. Both of them are from Kerala, studied together and were living together for the last three years," police was quoted as saying by ANI.

C K Baba, DCP South-East division, Bengaluru City Police said, "They were live-in partners. Both are from Kerala. A few days back, he (the accused) had some suspicions about the woman (deceased). They used to fight over it. Yesterday the same thing happened. They fought and he hit her with a pressure cooker. We have registered an IPC Section 302 case (murder). We have also arrested him and interrogation is going on."
4 Members Of A Family Found Dead In Karnataka's Mysuru
In another incident, Mysuru city police launched a probe after they found four members of the same family dead inside their rented home at Chamundipuram on Sunday afternoon in Karnataka. The deceased were identified as Mahadevaswamy (45), his wife Anita (38), and daughters Chandrakala (17) and Dhanalakshmi (15). Officials said they suspect it to be a case of a suicide pact.
According to PTI, Mahadevaswamy had a vegetable shop at Bandipalya in the area. Neighbours said they noticed that the door was not opened for the past two days and reported the matter to the police after they grew suspicious.
"The front door was bolted from inside. So we opened the door at the rear and found them dead. Among the four, one was found hanging, which appears to be the elder daughter," a police officer was quoted as saying by PTI. He also said that three others in the house died sitting on the floor.
