Varanasi News: Over 15,000 candidates secured jobs at the Kashi Sansad Rojgar Mela. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath.
Varanasi News: Over 15,000 candidates secured jobs during the two-day Kashi Sansad Rojgar Mela held at the Government Industrial Training Institute in Karaudi, Varanasi, over the weekend. The event witnessed participation from 371 company representatives and 24,722 beneficiaries.
Ravindra Jaiswal, Uttar Pradesh's Minister of State for Stamp and Court Registration Fees (Independent Charge), distributed employment certificates to successful candidates on Sunday, Times of India reported. Candidates reached the job fair after registering online.
The fair saw Clinton Geo Engineering Private Limited and Rastant Lucknow emerging as the top employers, hiring 220 and 144 candidates, respectively.
Notably, HDFC Bank and Saundarya Beauty Studio, Varanasi, offered the highest annual packages of Rs 4.2 lakhs, as per TOI's report.

Several beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for creating opportunities for youth to achieve self-reliance. They emphasised that the fair not only provided jobs but also instilled a sense of self-respect and confidence, the report stated.
Key attendees at the event included Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal, Parliamentary Public Relations Office In-charge Shivsharan Pathak, Kashi Region Media In-charge Navratan Rathi, and prominent figures such as Jagdish Tripathi, Rahul Singh, Arvind Singh, Sanjay Sonkar, Geeta Shastri, Ashok Yadav, Sandeep Raghuvanshi, Shailendra Mishra, Faujdar Pal, and Chhati Yadav, TOI reported.
