Traffic Cop Dragged Over 100 Metres
Similarly, during a routine traffic check in Shivamogga, Karnataka a police constable was dragged for over 100 metres on the bonnet of a moving car. The incident took place near Sahyadri College around 2 PM on October 25, involving a traffic officer named Prabhu and a driver identified as Mithun.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident began when traffic police were conducting vehicle inspections in the area. Officer Prabhu gave his signal a car to stop for a routine check, but the driver allegedly responded aggressively and tried to escape the officer. An onlooker who recorded the incident captured the shocking moment when the driver accelerated while Prabhu was on the car’s bonnet.
Despite the attempts of the officer to stop the vehicle, Mithun kept driving for over 100 meters before finally coming to a halt. The officer was fortunate to escape without severe injuries.
