Lashing out at the attack on the BJP office by Congress workers, Union Minister and state BJP president G Kishan Reddy demanded an explanation from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He claimed that police were inactive spectators when the BJP office was "attacked". He questioned the city police commissioner about the behaviour of the police.
Kishan Reddy also emphasised that the BJP would continue holding the state's Congress government accountable for its unfulfilled election promises, despite recent "attacks." He stated that the BJP opposes any form of physical violence but warned that if compelled, the party's actions could lead to law and order issues in the state.
State Congress President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud condemned BJP MP Bidhuri's controversial remarks but stressed that protests must remain democratic, rejecting any form of violence. He also criticised the conduct of BJP leaders during the incident.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, strongly denouncing Bidhuri's comments, said he had discussed the protest with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president.
