Gautam Adani Attends Puri Rath Yatra With Family, Calls It ‘Priceless Memory Of My Life’

Accompanied by his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, the industrialist took part in the religious event and offered prayers during the annual chariot procession.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, on Saturday expressed deep gratitude after attending the revered Rath Yatra festival in Puri, Odisha. Accompanied by his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, the industrialist took part in the religious event and offered prayers during the annual chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra.

The Adani family participated in the rituals associated with the sacred occasion, including the traditional ‘Rath Poojan’. Describing the experience, Adani said it was a moment of profound spiritual reflection and emotional connection. In a post on the social media platform X, he shared, “Seeing the Lord Himself among devotees is an experience of the pinnacle of humility, simplicity, and compassion.”

He added, “This Rath Yatra is a grand embodiment of faith, service, and unity, which delights the mind, intellect, and soul. Being a witness to this wonderful experience on the sacred land of Puri, alongside millions of devotees, will forever remain among the priceless memories of my life.”

Adani Group Organises 'Prasad Seva' for Devotees and Frontline Workers

In addition to their presence at the festival, the Adani Group has launched a major seva initiative in Puri during the Rath Yatra, scheduled between June 26 and July 8. The initiative involves the distribution of free meals and refreshments to both pilgrims and frontline personnel involved in managing the event. Several counters have been set up across the temple town to facilitate smooth and timely delivery of 'prasad'.

The group’s outreach mirrors its earlier involvement in the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj earlier this year, where it played a key role in food distribution in collaboration with religious and civic institutions.

Acknowledging the efforts of those working behind the scenes to ensure the Yatra’s success, Gautam Adani noted, “I wholeheartedly thank the state government, Puri administration, and the thousands of service-dedicated workers whose dedication and discipline have made this event unfold with such reverence and grandeur.”

Extending his blessings, he concluded, “May the grace of Lord Jagannath always remain upon the holy state of Odisha, India, and its people. Jai Jagannath.”
