ABP Budget Snap Polls: India is surging ahead economically after the global pandemic COVID-19 affected most of the sectors (organised or unorganised). While the market holders have their own set of expectations, a common man is seeking relief in taxation and looking for more rebates which will provide them instant relief. All the suspense will culminate as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget on February 1 in the parliament.

With Pakistan being a constant infiltrator at the border sectors, the defence budget for the nation becomes a topic of discussion even for a common man.
For that reason, ABP News in a survey conducted with C-Voter asked respondents, keeping in view the recent border tensions, that should India's defence budget be increased.
Overall, 62.8% of the respondents said that they expect that the defence budget should be hiked while 16.9% of the people were not in favour of any such provisions in the upcoming budget. It is also to be taken into account that 20.3% of the respondents were not sure if the budget for defence sector should be hiked or not.
