Porsche And Vodafone Collaborate To Bring In New Technology To Reduce Road Accidents

It often happens that drivers are not able to detect the road condition quickly. Now Porsche is working on a technology that will send an alert to the driver before any danger.

World's luxury carmakers Porsche and Vodafone are soon coming up with a technology that will alert the driver before an accident. For this, they have joined hands with HERE Technology. Porsche is working on developing an accurate, real-time 5G technology and localization of traffic situations.

Drivers will get real time alerts

Porsche, Vodafone, and Heyer Technology are currently working on a real-time traffic warning system to alert drivers of danger and act quickly. This warning system is currently being tested at the Vodafone 5G Mobility Lab in Aldenhoven, Germany. It is being tested in every respect.

Tests going on

The use of positioning technology, HD maps, and Live Sense software development kit in this warning system will detect the bad condition of the road while driving the car. This system will connect the device with the front-facing camera of the drivers. After lab testing, the company will test this system with different conditions on the road.

The motive behind bringing this special technology is to prevent and reduce accidents where the driver is unable to detect or see a potential hazard. The company expects that after the introduction of this technology, accidents will be reduced to a great extent.
