Mahindra Thar ROXX Now Comes With Panoramic Sunroof

Mahindra Thar in its 3 door form misses out on many features but the new upcoming Thar ROXX will get much more as it has been revealed that it will get a panoramic sunroof. Yes, the Thar 5-door iteration will now get a panoramic sunroof similar to the XUV700.

This means that it will get a feature also not available on even the Scorpio N. The Scorpio N gets a standard sunroof but the ROXX getting a panoramic one means that it will be a premium offering. The panoramic sunroof would also be operated via voice commands plus it covers a large part of the roof.

The Thar ROXX is not a 5-door Thar as it more based on the Scorpio N platform. This means that the ROXX will be getting premium features including the panoramic sunroof plus a 360 degree camera, ADAS level 2 and more. The Thar ROXX will most probably come with the panoramic sunroof as part of the top-end while other variants could get a smaller standard sunroof.

The ROXX will get a turbo petrol and a diesel option while it will get a smaller diesel too with RWD layout. The ROXX would be more premium than the Thar 3 door and would be significantly priced higher. We will know details closer to launch on the 15th of next month as Mahindra will unveil the product as well as the pricing for the SUV. Being the much awaited 5-door version, the ROXX will sit above the Thar range currently and aim to expand its buyer base.
