Hyundai Electric Creta EV Vs Creta: What Would Be The Differences?
Besides an all-electric power plant for sure, the Creta EV is likely to get some EV-specific tweaks over the regular Creta.
It is no secret that Hyundai is readying the Creta EV in India and it is based on its facelifted Creta, which itself was launched in India at the starting of this year. The EV version though would be different in some aspects over the Creta ICE version with some EV specific touches. While it will majorly get the look of the current facelifted Creta, the EV version will get a blanked off grille and a different lighting signature along with an aero optimized front bumper design.
The much anticipated Creta EV will also get 17-inch alloy wheels which are also aero optimised, and would come wrapped in some EV specific tyres to boost the overall range. The side profile would most likely stay the same as the current Creta but the rear might get some change with an EV badge of course.

On the inside, the Creta EV might carry some subtle EV-specific differentiations over the regular Creta as well, like an instrument cluster with EV related info. We expect the Creta EV to get a 45kWh battery pack and the range could be around 450-500 km which is normal these days. Other features which one can expect would be regenerative braking which would be modulated via the steering paddles along with all of the premium features like a panoramic sunroof, cooled seats, dual zone climate control and more.
The Creta EV or electric as it could also be called would be placed above the current ICE Creta white Hyundai may offer two battery packs along with two charger options. The Creta EV would be competing with the likes of the Tata Curvv EV and the Maruti Suzuki eVX. We also expect the Creta EV to be retailed via the same existing Hyundai dealership network. The Creta EV would be launched later after the launch of the Creta N-Lin
